Welcome to the Hogan family Blog!

Leonidas (LEO) George Hogan arrived on Febuary 1st 2008 at 11:34 am. He weighed in at a healthy 8lbs 15oz and 21.5 inches long.

We came home from the hospital on Tuesday and have been enjoying learning how to take care of two ever since. Rorie loves to cuddle, touch, sing and talk to her baby brother.

She is enjoying all the company and attention as well.

Beth was excited that she was able to to have a natural VBAC birth thanks to the support of our Doula Heather, my mom and Sean. The doctors and nurses at Sutter Memorial, were more attentive and supportive of our decision to have a natural birth as well.

His Name:

We plan on calling him Leo after Sean's grandpa.

His full name is Leonidas George Hogan.

Leonidas was the King of Greece who led the Spartans into the battle of thermopylae.

George is Beth's maiden name.
